Privacy Policy – KPG Scene

KPG Scene ("we", "us") is a website that lists DJs, producers and live acts who are currently on Koh Phangan, and parties that take place on the island. This policy explains what information we collect, why, who can see it, and how to remove it.

We keep this short and in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to [email protected].

What we collect, and why

If you register as an artist (DJ, producer or live act)

If you send a booking request as an organiser or venue

Your name, venue or party name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), the date, slot, budget and message. We use these only to handle your request and to contact you. None of it is shown publicly, and we do not pass it to the artist without contacting you first.

If you add a party to the events board

The party details you enter (name, venue, date, times, genres, flyer, description, entry price, links, line-up) are public. Your name, WhatsApp and email as organiser are not shown publicly; we use them to verify the listing and to contact you.

Automatically

Basic, anonymous usage data (which pages are visited, roughly when, from what kind of device) through our hosting provider's analytics, and technical logs (IP address, browser type) that our hosting and email providers keep for security and delivery. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party cookies.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your information.
• We do not show your email, phone number or full name to anyone.
• We do not send marketing emails. The only emails you receive are about your own registration, profile, reminders and bookings.
• We do not use your data to train AI systems.

Party listings imported from other sites

Part of the events board is filled automatically from public event pages, mainly phangan.events. For those listings we show the party name, venue, date, time, genre and flyer, with a link and credit to the original page. If you are the organiser of an imported party and want it changed or removed, use the "Claim it" button on the party or write to us.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database and image storage, servers in [REGION]), our site is hosted on Vercel, and emails are sent through Resend. Each of these providers processes data only to provide their service to us. Your data may therefore be stored outside the country you live in.

How long we keep it

• Artist profiles: as long as your profile exists. A profile that has not been updated for 12 months may be archived.
• Booking requests and party listings: up to 24 months after the event date, for our records.
• If you remove your profile, we delete it, including your photo, within 30 days. Booking records that mention you are kept in anonymised form.

Your choices and rights

• See and edit everything on your profile through your personal link.
• Hide your Instagram or pause your profile by writing to us or from your personal link.
• Stop reminder emails with the link at the bottom of any reminder.
• Remove your profile with the "Remove my profile" button on your personal link, or by emailing us.
• Ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.

If you are in the EU/EEA or the UK, these are your rights under the GDPR and you may also complain to your local data protection authority. If you are in Thailand, similar rights apply under the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Children

KPG Scene is for adults. We do not knowingly accept registrations from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has registered, tell us and we will remove the profile.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will note the date at the top and, for registered artists, mention it in the next email we send you.

Usage statistics

We count how the site is used – pages opened, profiles and parties viewed, buttons tapped – to know what helps DJs, artists, organisers and venues. This works without cookies and without any outside analytics service. A visit is counted under a code that is made fresh every day from your connection and browser and cannot be turned back into who you are; your IP address is not stored. We never record the contents of forms or the private links sent to you. The records are deleted after 180 days.

Reviews

If an artist allows reviews and you booked them through KPG Scene, we e-mail you the day after the gig to ask how it went, with one reminder five days later. If you write a review, we keep your e-mail address with it (never shown) and publish your first name or your venue's name – your choice – with the stars, text and tags. The artist can hide it, and the admin can delete it. If you do not want to be asked, just ignore the e-mail.

Accounts

You can use KPG Scene without an account. If you sign in – with Google, Facebook or a code sent to your e-mail – we keep your name, e-mail address, profile picture (from Google or Facebook), language and notification choices, and link the profiles you have here (artist, venue, parties) to your account. We receive nothing else from Google or Facebook and never post anything for you. KPG Scene is part of the AstraTribe family: the same sign-in also works for other AstraTribe services, such as PsyJourney. You can change what we e-mail you about, and delete your account at any time from your account page ("Delete my account"); your profiles then lose the link to it, or are deleted too if you choose.

Tonight on Koh Phangan

If you sign up for the daily e-mail, we keep your e-mail address, your language and when you confirmed, only to send it. Each e-mail has a link to stop at once; we then stop sending and keep the address only as unsubscribed, so it is never added again by mistake. We count opens and link taps in total, not per person. Telegram and WhatsApp channels are run by those services; we do not see who follows them.
